Wales is a small but proud country with its own distinctive culture and language, which is still used today. For such a small country, Wales has so much to offer, from the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park to Cardiff, the exciting capital ; Wales has a wealth of attractions to keep you happy for days. Start from the north coast of Wales in Llandudno, a picturesque seaside resort reminiscent of the Victorian period and full of character. After browsing the many shops and cafes, make your way to the delightful Great Orme Tramway and take a ride to the Great Orme summit. Once there, as well as the amazing views, you will find a visitors' centre, tourist shop, café and licensed hotel to keep you entertained for hours. Not far away is Conwy, a lovely little town which has the smallest house in Britain - the Quay House. It has a cinema, art gallery, cafe, bar and restaurant, and even fishing is permitted for free at the end of the pier except for summer months. Not only that, but also free musical entertainment is provided along Penarth's seafront during the summer – it is Wales after all.
