Day 1 : ARRIVE FRANKFURT (OFFENBACH)
Welcome to Frankfurt! See the city’s sights including the medieval Römerplatz during your orientation. Join your companions and Travel Director this evening for a Welcome Reception and trip briefing.(Welcome Reception)

Day 2 : FRANKFURT - BLACK FOREST (2 NIGHTS)
Visit the courtyard at Heidelberg Castle and view the ruins of this beautiful building. Drive through scenic countryside to Baden-Baden famous for its spa and casino. Here see tree-lined boulevards and stately villas. Arrive later in the Black Forest where you will learn about the tradition of clock making and see how cuckoo clocks are made.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 3 : TITISEE ORIENTATION AND FREE TIME
After a leisurely start to the day, enjoy an orientation of quaint Titisee with it's famous lakeside road. Your Travel Director will suggest a number of activities which are available for you to consider in the Black Forest. Day 4 : BLACK FOREST - NEUSCHWANSTEIN - OBERAMMERGAU - MUNICH (2 NIGHTS)
Drive east through picturesque Bavarian scenery to Neuschwanstein and visit the spectacular 19th century Gothic Revival palace built for the reclusive King Ludwig. Stop in Oberammergau, the village that ‘struck a deal with God’ in 1633 as the plague gripped Europe, vowing to perform the Passion Play if spared. Enjoy a woodcarving demonstration and see handmade crafts made by talented local artists. Arrive later in Munich, a city in the heart of Bavaria. Day 5 : MUNICH ORIENTATION AND EXCURSION TO DACHAU
Your orientation of Munich includes the Olympic Stadium, Ludwigstrasse and Marienplatz, famous for its Glockenspiel Carillon. You are free afterwards to explore the city on your own. Visit Munich’s fine museums or hire a bicycle to see the sights. Tonight, you might like to sample the local brew!(Buffet Breakfast)
Day 6 : MUNICH - ROTHENBURG OB-DER-TAUBER
This morning visit the concentration camp at Dachau for an insight into the horrors of the Holocaust.Then follow the Romantic Road through picturesque medieval villages and immaculate countryside to Rothenburg. Walk through this charming hamlet with your Travel Director and view quaint half-timbered houses and the old Town Hall. Dine tonight at your hotel.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 : ROTHENBURG - NUREMBERG - BAYREUTH - MODLAREUTH - DRESDEN
In Nuremberg, your orientation includes views of St. Sebald's Cathedral and a visit to the bustling market place. Stop and enjoy views of the Wagner Festival Theatre in Bayreuth before a short drive brings you to Mödlareuth. Until 1989 this village was divided in two by the Iron Curtain. Learn about its unique history at the open-air museum and see the remaining towers and fortifications. Arrive later in Dresden, known in the 18th century as the 'Florence of the north'.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 : DRESDEN - BERLIN (2 NIGHTS)
Dresden’s striking skyline features delicate spires, soaring towers and domed churches. See the city’s highlights including the Opera House and Zwinger Palace during your orientation. Later travel to the historic city of Berlin for a two night stay. This evening, don’t miss the opportunity to explore Berlin’s famously diverse nightlife.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 9 : BERLIN SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Berlin is a remarkable city that has survived revolution, fascism and bombings. It was ripped in half and reunited, and features fascinating history everywhere you look. Your expert Local Guide shows you the famous landmarks including the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard, the German State Opera House and the Reichstag Building. See the old East and West sections, the Tiergarten and the shopping and entertainment district of KurfĂ¼rstendamm. You are free afterwards to explore on your own.
