DAY 1: UK - Paris.

Travel by Eurostar to Paris where you will be met by your tour director and transferred to your hotel for one night.


DAY 2: Paris. 

Enjoy a full day to explore this magnificent city - renowned throughout the world for its fashion, delicious food, art and museums. Today's included sightseeing trip with a local guide takes in many of the best-known Parisian sights, such as La Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe, Opera, Madeleine, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Pyramid, Champs Elysees and Notre Dame. There is also a full programme of optional excursions available (B)


DAY 3: Paris - Beaune - Lausanne.

Admire the fascinating, ever changing scenery today as you journey through some of France's best-known vineyard country taking in views of Fontainebleau Forest and the wine-growing area of Burgundy. Stop awhile in pretty Beaune before continuing amongst the lush vineyards and apricot groves of the lower Rhône Valley to Lausanne. (B)


DAY 4: Lausanne - Interlaken - Lucerne.

Head to the shores of Lake Geneva this morning for an included visit to the picturesque Chillon Castle, a 12th century water fortress immortalised by the poet Lord Byron. Later, continue past the scenic shores of Lake Thun to Interlaken and onwards, via Lake Brienz and the Brünig Pass to Lake Lucerne for two nights. (B, D)


DAY 5: Lucerne.

Today you have a full day to experience the lovely Lucerne area. Begin with an included tour to admire the cobblestone streets lined with ornate patrician houses and local highlights including the impressive city walls, covered wooden bridge and the Lion Monument. Enjoy a leisurely cruise on the sparkling, fjord-like waters of Lake Lucerne before a free afternoon to explore at leisure. Why not join the optional excursion to Mount Titlis - famed for its revolving cable car system? (B)


DAY 6: Lucerne - Vaduz - Rhine falls - Lake Titisee - Black Forest.

This morning, journey into the tiny principality of Liechtenstein for a visit to its capital, Vaduz, before continuing into Switzerland for a visit to the thundering Rhine Falls; Europe's largest waterfall. After enjoying the beautiful panoramas, head towards Germany and into the heart of the Black Forest region where, after a stop to admire the small but lovely Lake Titisee, you'll stay for one night. DAY 7: Black Forest - Brussels. 

Marvel at the delightful scenery of the Black Forest this morning en route to the Germany's oldest university town: Heidelberg, whose red-roofed skyline is dominated by the ruins of its spectacular sandstone castle. Later continue to Brussels for an evening orientation tour, taking in sights such as the Grand Place and the Mannekin Pis fountain. (B)


DAY 8: Brussels - UK. 

Transfer to the station after breakfast to join the Eurostar service back to the UK. (B)
