DAY 1: UK - Channel Crossing - Amsterdam area.
Join your tour by travelling on our free coach service from London for your Channel crossing to the Continent. Here you will be met by your tour director and touring coach to continue to the Amsterdam area for two nights.
DAY 2: Amsterdam.
A full day to enjoy Amsterdam, a delightful city of "a thousand bridges". The included excursion will take in a visit to a diamond cutting centre as well as city sightseeing with a local guide and a canal cruise. (B, D)
DAY 3: Amsterdam area - Rhineland.
The morning at leisure to see more of Amsterdam. In the afternoon you travel southwards into the lovely landscape of the Rhineland for one night. (B, D)
DAY 4: Rhineland - Lake Lucerne.
This morning begins with an included Rhine cruise with some legendary sights, including the Lorelei Rock. Rejoin the coach to drive south into Switzerland for two nights in the Lake Lucerne area. (B, D)
DAY 5: Lake Lucerne.
Morning in Lucerne for an included orientation taking in the impressive city walls, the covered wooden bridge and the Lion Monument - a masterful stone sculpture in honour of the heroic Swiss guard of Louis XVI. Don't miss an optional cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis for some spectacular views of the Alps. (B)
DAY 6: Lake Lucerne - Paris.
Vistas of green pastures and attractive chalets with rustic timbering and luxuriant flowers highlight your journey this morning. Then into France and past some of its most famous vineyards to Paris. Arrive in time to enjoy the optional cabaret show. (B)
DAY 7: Paris. Included sightseeing.
A day to explore this exciting city. Your included sightseeing with a local guide takes in many of the best-known Parisian sights: La Sorbonne, Boulevard St Germain, Eiffel Tower, Opéra, Champs Elysées and the Rue de Rivoli to name just a few. In the evening enjoy the optional visit to Montmartre and then a farewell dinner. (B)
DAY 8: Paris - Channel Crossing - UK.
A last look at Paris as you drive north to the Channel port and the end of your memorable tour. After the short Channel crossing join the coach service back to London. (B)
