16-Day Break



  • Day 1 – Local departure by coach then onward to Belgium for an overnight stay. 

  • Day 2 – To Berlin Evening Tour (optional). An evening sightseeing tour takes in all the major sights in Berlin’s historical centre including the Cathedral, Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Wall, with an overnight stay. B

  • Day 3 – Travel to Warsaw, Poland, for a two-night stay. B,D

  • Day 4 – Warsaw Sightseeing (included). Our tour of this cultural capital includes the ‘Royal Route’ with its aristocratic residences, the Old Town, the Ghetto Memorial and the Belvedere Palace. Our local guide will provide an informative commentary, revealing many of the stories behind the often tragic history of this fascinating city that was all but destroyed during WWII. B,D

  • Day 5 – To Brest and then onto Minsk, Belarus for an overnight stay. B,L,D

  • Day 6 – To Smolensk and later to Moscow, Russia, for a two-night stay. B,L,D

  • Day 7 – Moscow Sightseeing (included); The Kremlin (optional); Moscow by Night Tour (optional). Discover the vibrant capital of Moscow on our guided sightseeing tour, visiting St. Basil’s Cathedral, Red Square, the Kremlin and Novodevichy Convent. You can also enjoy an optional visit inside the Kremlin. In the evening, our optional ‘Moscow by Night’ tour discovers the city’s famous underground metro system.. B,D

  • Day 8 – To Novgorod for an overnight stay. B,L,D

  • Day 9 – To St. Petersburg for a three-night stay. B,D

  • Day 10 – St. Petersburg Sightseeing (included) and St. Petersburg Ballet (optional). This guided tour will introduce the famous landmarks, history and culture of the city renouned as perhaps the most beautiful in Russia. St. Petersburg Ballet is classed as the birthplace of Russian classical ballet, and you can enjoy an optional evening at one of the famed ballet theatres. B,D

  • Day 11 – St. Petersburg Boat Cruise (optional). Join a boat cruise along the Neva River. Then enjoy a traditional Russian show on board, with dancing and singing. Included in the price is Russian sparkling wine, vodka, caviar and fruit. B,D

  • Day 12 – Helsinki (included). Enjoy a short visit to Finland’s capital city, where western and eastern cultures meet. Finnish design and 450 years of history combine with wonderful natural surroundings to make Helsinki a fascinating city to visit.Then overnight ferry to Stockholm, Sweden. B

  • Day 13 – Arrive in Stockholm (included). Enjoy a short introduction to one of the world’s most beautiful capitals. It is built on 14 islands and its buildings, greenery and proximity to the water create a stunning setting. We later head across Sweden to Denmark and Copenhagen for an overnight stay. B,D

  • Day 14 – Copenhagen Sightseeing (optional). Copenhagen has many fascinating landmarks and architectural masterpieces. We see the Tivoli Gardens, the Rosenborg Palace and the ‘Little Mermaid’. Then to northern Germany via Rodbyhavn/Puttgarden ferry for an overnight stay. B,D

  • Day 15 – To Belgium for an overnight stay. B

  • Day 16 – To Calais then return home. B
