14-Day Break



  • Day 1 – Local departure then onwards to Belgium for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2 – Via Möhne Dam, of Dambusters fame, to Berlin for 2 nights. B,D

  • Day 3 – Berlin (included). To make the most of your visit join our optional guided sightseeing tour, which includes the Berlin Cathedral, Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Wall. B,D

  • Day 4 – To Warsaw for a 2-night stay. B,D

  • Day 5 – Warsaw (included); Warsaw Sightseeing (optional, included on Silver Service). Nearly destroyed in WWII, yet restored in under 13 years, Poland’s pretty capital is a gem! Our optional sightseeing tour takes in the castles, monuments and cathedrals at the heart of this robust nation. B,D

  • Day 6 – Jasna Gora and Auschwitz (included). We visit the fascinating 4th-century Paulite Monastery at Jasna Gora and its famous ‘Black Madonna’. Afterwards, we visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp for a remembrance visit. B

  • Day 7 – Krakow with Guided Sightseeing Tour (included); Wieliczka Salt Mines (optional). Krakow’s Old Town is placed on the UNESCO list of protected World Historic Sites on account of its fabulous architecture. Afternoon visit to the famous salt mines where salt mining has continued since the Middle Ages. B

  • Day 8 – To Budapest for a 2-night stay. B,D

  • Day 9 – Budapest (included); Budapest Sightseeing (optional, included on Silver Service). A full day to discover the Hungarian capital at leisure. Our optional guided sightseeing tour captures many sights, beginning with a drive to Gellért Hill, then over the famous Chain Bridge and onto the Pest district, ending at the Buda castle district. You can also join an optional relaxing lunch cruise on the majestic ‘blue’ Danube. B,D

  • Day 10 – Vienna (included); Vienesse Concert (optional). Our optional guided tour will introduce the principal sights, including the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament Building and the City Hall. We see the house where Johann Strauss composed the Blue Danube Waltz before crossing the Danube to see the United Nations complex. We then pass the famous Prater Wheel before returning to the centre. Tonight, take in a Viennese concert with the Salon Orchestra of Vienna. B,D

  • Day 12 – Prague with Guided Walking Tour (included). Prague is affectionately known as the ‘Golden Town’. Our guided walking tour introduces the splendid architecture of Prague Old Town, the world’s largest UNESCO monument. B,D

  • Day 13 – To Belgium for an overnight stay. B

  • Day 14 – To Calais then return home. B
