Day 1:
To help you get your bearings, we have included a half-day morning sightseeing tour featuring Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. This morning’s sightseeing tour will finish in central London. Then London is yours. Explore the British Museum, visit the City of London’s business district and the Tower of London. Call in at Madame Tussauds or
browse through the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. Don’t miss the Changing of the Guard or a River Thames cruise to Greenwich, home of the Royal Maritime Museum and the Cutty Sark, which
is under restoration.
Shopping is just as tempting and just as varied. Department stores line Oxford Street and Regent Street. Famous labels parade down Bond Street and along the Burlington Arcade. Harrods and the many boutiques of Knightsbridge are surely a must. There are antiques and curiosities in Camden
Market, Portobello Road and Chelsea’s Kings Road.
And you can make the most of your stay with a selection of optional excursions, from Windsor Castle to Oxford’s ornate colleges or even head out to Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon.
Also included in Trafalgar’s London Week are tickets to a West End show (please note tickets to all shows are subject to availability). Plus, the bonus three days’ free travel on the city’s central bus and underground network.
