Getaway: London Locals

Your adventure begins with meeting your local host in the lobby of your hotel this afternoon. Your local host will be there beginning at 2 PM to get you started and offer plenty of tips to point you in the right direction by giving you the know-how to make the most of your time in this cosmopolitan city.

You will have three days to use your vouchers to London’s most popular “Hop-On, Hop-Off” tour bus to see more of the city at your own pace. (B)

Today, you might like to take one or more of the walking tours included with your Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour. You’ll have a choice of three: Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace to experience this traditional 500-year-old ceremony; the Rock ‘n Roll tour, which will take you to the heart of London’s musical heritage; and the Jack the Ripper tour, to see the streets where the infamous 19th-century killer walked as the police desperately tried to track him down. You might choose to spend your final day of sightseeing on a cruise down the River Thames, viewing famous attractions such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. (B)
