Itinerary for: Paris & Rome (Moderate) 2010 (PARM)
Day 1:
Welcome to Paris! After hotel check-in, time to relax and unwind. The next morning our sightseeing tour includes the ascent of the Eiffel Tower to the second level, a drive up the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and views of Notre Dame Cathedral. The following day we visit the Fragonard Perfumery and Museum. Then time is yours to maybe shop or visit the splendid Palace of Versailles or the Louvre. Why not dine out on the Left Bank or enjoy a spectacular Parisian cabaret? (Buffet breakfast)
Hotel: Ibis Alesia
Day 2:
Today is at leisure until we board our train in Paris for an overnight journey through the French vineyards en route to Italy, and across the Apennine Mountains to Rome.

Day 3:
Enjoy two full days in this exciting city. Our sightseeing tour on the first morning with a local guide, using our effective audio system, features views of the Forum, Colosseum and the Circus Maximus where ‘Ben Hur’ style chariot races took place, plus a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.
Then Rome is yours to explore as you please. There’s plenty of time to admire Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, and shop along the elegant Via Condotti. In the evenings, perhaps discover Italy’s mouthwatering cuisine in one of Rome’s many restaurants. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 4:
'Buon viaggio’ Roma as our memorable tour of Paris and Rome comes to an end. There are transfers available to Rome Fiumicino Airport, conditions apply, for your return flight home.
Free airport transfers:
Transfers on Day 1 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport will operate at 08.30, 11.00 and 13.30. Passengers arriving later should make their own way to the first hotel. Return transfers from the last hotel will arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport at 07.00 and 09.30.
