Local departures than head to your 3* hotel for two nights stay. After checking in there will be time to freshen up and enjoy a meal before heading out to the Lions Mound monument over looking the Waterloo battlefield. From your grandstand seats we will watch a great show of pyrotechnic battles, three internationally reputed firework makers confront one another and compete in a production directly inspired by the notable date of 18th June 1885, forever a milestone in history. You will receive a blanket with motif.

After a leisurely breakfast we will head into the heart of Brussels and an included orientation tour, before having free time to explore the famous sites and enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants. This afternoon we will once again visit the battlefield where you will have the opportunity to wander in the heart of the Napoleonic Bivouacs, to discover the soldiers’ everyday life and the imperial atmosphere.

The Big Battle!! We once again return to the famous battleground and your reserved grandstand seat where you will watch the re-enactment of this famous battle unfold. The first troop movements will begin around 09:30 and the fights will start 10:00am sharp and end around noon. Watch the 3000 reenactors come face to face in this huge battle of European History between the Napoleonic troops of France and Wellingtons allied army. Scheduled for finish at lunchtime, we will then head to Calais and the return crossing. On arrival back in the UK we will return you to your original joining point.
