Delhi: Take a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi.
Enter the white-marble world of Ranakpur, tucked into a remote valley of the Aravalli Hills, where Chaumukha Mandir is dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain saint. Inside, you’ll move through 29 halls and wide corridors beneath 80 domes, with 1,444 individually carved pillars creating shifting patterns of light and shadow around you. Soft peach and beige stone are carved with elephants, flowers and human figures, while overhead, nymphs and maidens playing musical instruments appear across the domed ceilings.
